Cause

The Victoria HarbourCats Foundation, based in Victoria, British Columbia, was established with a primary mission to support youth baseball and softball initiatives. Founded by Richard Michaels, the foundation aimed to make these sports more accessible to a diverse range of youth by focusing on fundraising events, which gained considerable community support and financial backing. With these resources, sponsorships and community partners, the foundation made various youth baseball and softball programs viable options to underprivileged youth across the Victoria and Nanaimo areas.
